What is our mission?

We want to help and create a better world
Our Challenge is the name of the newsletter that I helped to produce during my stay in Bonn, West Germany.
Germany was an exciting challenge for me. I first went to Germany on a trip with my secondary school. I was impressed by the Autobahn, by the river Rhein and by the way everything was organized. So when, at the end of my studies, I was asked to volunteer to go there for a campaign of seven months it was easy to say yes.
When I was 23 years old, I left my homeland without looking back. My travels took me all over Germany and to various countries around the world. I witnessed the re-unification of Germany. I would like to share my opinion and insight into how and why the Berlin Wall fell.
Time in Preparation
Many years have elapsed since my return. I aspire to publish some of my writings on the Internet, convinced that this platform can enhance our comprehension of the present era and the remarkable future that lies ahead. The journey towards global peace is lengthy, and despite the challenges, significant progress has been made. Consider this - if the Berlin Wall could collapse, then so can the other barriers erected by humanity.
Study Goals
The fall of the Berlin Wall was a fulfillment of our collective hopes. A personal website such as this is not intended to serve as an educational tool or to elucidate historical events. Nevertheless, I encourage you to peruse my musings and examine the photographs I captured a generation prior. They may prove valuable to future researchers. For me, the diaries and notebooks from that period are wellsprings of inspiration and optimism.

Events that I witnessed
I witnessed several important events as a result of my travels
The Peace Demonstration in Bonn was our official response to the communists' large Peace Demonstration. We felt compelled to alert the public to the dangers of engaging with Communist "Peace," which we believed was merely a façade in Moscow's strategy. We staged our own demonstration in the town square the day before their event. On the day of their massive Peace Demonstration, which drew 200,000 people, approximately one hundred C.A.R.P. students and friends initially blended in with the crowd. At a given signal, we raised our banners and began chanting, "Communists speak of peace—they mean war." It was a thrilling moment; we had made our presence known. Subsequently, we organized numerous protests against the Berlin Wall.
In 1982, there was the Blessing of 5,837 couples at the Jamsil Gymnasium in Seoul, Korea. I went to take part and was matched and Blessed. The motto was World Peace through Ideal Families.
I have recollections of Cologne Carnival of 1983. That year was marked by the restoration of an old hotel as a base to do our witnessing from. I was busy scraping off wallpaper and decorating. The circumstances were not easy but we believed in a better world.
I participated in the World Student Service Corps in Guatemala in 1987. A similar idea to the Peace Corps. I volunteered to go to a country still in a civil war and yet with a new democratically elected government.
Our project was to construct a community centre that would serve as a meeting and weaving place for widows to create clothing for sale.
In Trier, the birthplace of Karl Marx, I engaged in public speaking at the town centre.
I attended World Student Conventions in four cities Berlin, Bangkok, Paris, and London.
My experiences with the Campus Church mission included visiting students in their apartments in Berlin. Here I met someone that told me of a dream she had that one day Germany would be reunited. I too believed it could happen. Nevertheless when it did it was a shock.
After the fall of the Berlin Wall, I returned to Berlin and former Communist Germany, to witness the emergence of the new Germany. I stayed for ten days in Magdeburg and met people on the street there to talk of their experiences.

Let's start building together
